President - Susan Rodriguez

Responsible for:
  • Presiding over regular and board meetings.
  • Appointing or sets up committees.
  • Appointing temporary task forces to deal with special issues.
  • Making appointments to fill vacancies of officers or committee chairs.
  • Authorizing expenses up to $250.00 (expenses over $250.00 must be approved by executive board).
  • Calling officers or members in session at any time.

President-Elect - Cindy Bridges

Responsible for:

  • Performing all duties of the president in his/her absence.
  • Assisting President in conducting association affairs.
  • Seeking and confirming nominations for annual elections, and developing slate of officers/committee chairs.
  • Creating and mailing ballots for annual elections
  • Conducting annual review of association needs and direction

Secretary - Charlesetta Malone

Responsible for:

  • Taking minutes at regular and board meetings.
  • Working with Communications Committee Chair on maintaining the membership list/labels.
  • Receiving and answering any correspondence addressed to the association.
  • Drafting and mailing correspondence from the association under the direction of the association/executive committee.
  • Storing election ballots for one year, then destroying them.
  • Maintaining labels and providing them to 9-1-1 Public Educators of Texas as needed

Treasurer - Christie Eskew

Responsible for:
  • Receiving all general funds and funds (not designated for meeting costs) collected by meeting hosts.
  • Paying all bills authorized by the President and/or executive board.
  • Submitting a digital, written, and oral financial report at each regular meeting.
  • Assist other officers in preparations for 9-1-1 Public Educators Meeting in conjunction with the Texas NENA Conference.
